6-Week Introduction to Printmaking Sampler

Get a fun introduction to three popular forms of printmaking: screen printing, relief printing, and drypoint intaglio! This hands-on, six-week course is designed for beginners and open to all experience levels. We will explore the basics of each printmaking process, including exposing images to screens, carving your own linoleum blocks, and scribing images into glossy photographs to create drypoint intaglio prints.

Bring your own ideas and images to explore, or use our creative prompts to get you started. Class activities include hands-on instruction and plenty of supervised individual work time. You’ll learn the fundamentals of each process while creating multiple editions of layered, colorful, and exciting prints.
