We'll look at a diverse collection of zines and explore their rich history, from punk to protest to personal storytelling, and guide you through the process of planning, designing, printing, and assembling your own zine using simple materials and various formats and binding options.

Expect a relaxed, welcoming space with supplies provided, creative prompts to get you started, and time to cut, collage, draw, and create. We’ll scan and print a handful of zines in the workshop with a desktop printer, and we’ll end the workshop with a zine trade so everyone goes home with a new collection of zines.

Come make something weird, personal, radical, beautiful – something that’s 100% yours.

All materials provided, but feel free to bring in your own collage materials if you’d like.
